About Us
Our Story
Our story begins over two centuries ago, when the Ayers family settled in the surrounding area. For generations, they have called this land their home, and the love and connection they have with it has only grown stronger with time.
Ronnie Ayers is a descendant of that family, raised within walking distance of his current home. In 1970, he married the love of his life, Barbara, and together they built their home on this very property — Ronnie milling the lumber himself from trees grown on the land. It was a labor of love they both poured their hearts into.
Together, Ronnie and Barbara raised three boys — Jacob, Joel, and Jared — who have since grown up and still live close by. Sadly, Barbara passed away too soon, but her spirit lives on in every corner of this land she helped cultivate and nurture.

Years later, Jacob and his wife Lesley returned to their roots. Together with Ronnie, they have dedicated themselves to keeping the farm alive and growing — adding livestock, an aviary, a greenhouse, a barn, and a serene ceremony area that overlooks a breathtaking meadow vista — each a testament to their love for this land and the animals that call it home.
Today, Barron Farms is open to you. We are passionate about the outdoors and sharing the full circle of caring for land and animals. Whether you are listening to the creek under the gazebo or feeling the breeze from our pasture view swing — our hope is to give you a place to leave the world behind, even just for a day.
Welcome to our home. We are so glad you found your way here.
